Site monitoring for interior architects
You do the site visit. The report is already sent.

From approved design to completed project.
Painting, joinery, electrics, finishes… coordinate your contractors and keep your client informed with clear, visual site reports.
Visual site reports your clients can understand
Observations dictated by voice on site
Tracking by trade package and sub-package

Between the approval of an interior design scheme and its actual delivery, there is often a whole world: the building site, with its contractors to coordinate, its practical hiccups and its site reports to produce after every visit. While software such as SketchUp or AutoCAD helps you design and visualise your projects, it is not built for monitoring the site once work begins. That is where Archireport comes in.
From design to delivery: a different job
Interior architects move between two worlds. Upstream, they design: layout plans, 3D modelling, choice of materials, atmospheres and mood boards, often produced with design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or dedicated interior design software. Once the scheme is approved and the quote signed, another phase begins: coordinating contractors, tracking progress and checking that what was designed matches what is being built.
This second phase is time-consuming and quite different from the first: you need to hold regular site meetings, record what has been done, flag non-conformities or necessary adjustments, then send a clear site report to both the contractors and the client. Many interior architects still do this work in Word or by email, which means endless back-and-forth and a greater risk of things being missed.
What Archireport brings in practice
Archireport takes over exactly where design software stops: on site, during the site visit. The app lets you gather everything relating to a project in one place: plans, quotes, contractor and client contact details, photos, supplier catalogues in PDF. Everything is centralised in the app, so you no longer have to hunt for information when you need it.
During your visit, you record your observations directly on your tablet or smartphone: mark-ups, sketches, photos and the precise location of each observation. You organise your site into trade packages and sub-packages to follow each trade separately (painting, joinery, electrics, finishes...) and assign each observation to the contractor concerned.
Once the visit is over, your site report is generated automatically, with observations sorted by trade package, annotated photos, plans and progress tracking. It is ready to send to your contractors and your client directly from the app, without going through your inbox.
Time-saving features
Archireport has many features to make your day-to-day work easier:
- A centralised project: plans, quotes, documents and exchanges with each contractor in one place.
- Visual site reports, easier for a client unfamiliar with construction jargon to understand than dense text.
- Reusable checkpoints from one project to the next, to standardise your visits without starting from scratch.
- Tracking by trade package and sub-package, to keep a clear view of each item of work, even on a complex project.
- Use in the office and on site alike, with instant syncing between your tablet and your computer.
An app that is easy to pick up
Archireport is designed to be picked up quickly, with no training needed. The app is intuitive and easy to use, whether on your PC, smartphone or tablet. Voice input lets you dictate your observations on site to save time.
Why choose Archireport
Unlike a general-purpose design tool, Archireport is specifically designed for the site monitoring phase of architects, interior designers and interior architects. It supports you through every phase of the works, from the first meeting with your client to project handover.
The app is available on iPad, iPhone and web browsers, with a free 30-day trial and no credit card required. Many interior architects and interior designers already use it to replace site reports written in Word and save valuable time on every project.
