Handover certificate (private contracts)

The handover certificate is one of the most important documents on a project. It marks the end of the works and starts the legal guarantees running. A mistake on that day can prove costly for years.

On a private contract between the client and the contractors, formalising the handover properly protects everyone. The certificate sets the handover date, triggers the one-year defects liability period and the guarantees that follow, and makes the final payment due. Without a clear document, the handover becomes hard to date and to prove.

On site, handover day is busy: many points to check, snags to record trade package by trade package, and a document to produce straight away. For the project manager, it is better to have a tool that does it for them.

The architect gets a clean certificate, signed on site, trade package by trade package.

At the end of a private contract, the module lets you generate a handover certificate for each trade package, between the client and the contractor. The document adapts automatically depending on whether or not there are snags.

All the client’s and contractor’s details are pre-filled from the project’s contractors. You record your snags on site, specifying their location and adding photos, which are then automatically attached to the certificate as an appendix.

Once the snags have been cleared, you issue a snag clearance record in a few clicks. Documents can then be signed directly on the tablet by the client and the contractor, on site or remotely by email.

Activez le module depuis le Modules Manager. Ajoutez-le ensuite à un projet existant ou à un nouveau projet depuis ses préférences. Le module apparaît alors dans le menu de votre projet.
