Building fire safety audit - Switzerland

In Switzerland, fire safety is governed by the VKF/AEAI fire protection directives, which cover specific topics: safety distances, load-bearing structures, fire compartments and many more. A thorough audit must review each of these points, document non-compliances with their level of criticality, and set a deadline for remediation.

On site, the auditor checks a large number of points, often in areas with no network coverage. Formatting it all afterwards, following the structure of the VKF/AEAI directives, is a substantial piece of work if the findings were not organised from the start.

For the auditor or the appointed consultant, the aim is to work through each VKF/AEAI topic directly on site, even offline, and to produce a report whose structure already meets the expectations of owners, operators or authorities.

It is designed for HSE managers and building surveyors appointed to carry out these inspections.

The Fire safety audit module lets you carry out your inspection directly during the visit. Each point checked is documented on the spot: you add notes and photos, locate the equipment or defect on the plan, and record whether it is compliant or non-compliant.

The report is generated automatically with a clear layout, ready to send to the owner, the operator or the competent authority. Your inspection checklists can be reused from one audit to the next, so you only enter what is specific to each building.
